By accessing or using the API services provided by frapi.io ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and frapi.io ("we," "us," or "our"). We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
You represent that you have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or the entity you represent.
2. Description of Service
frapi.io provides a suite of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) hosted on the RapidAPI platform, including but not limited to:
- US Phone Validation API — Validate US phone numbers, retrieve carrier information, line type, and geolocation data.
- Barcode Generation & Decoding API — Generate and decode barcodes in multiple formats including QR Code, PDF417, Code 39, and Code 128.
All API access, subscription management, billing, and usage tracking is handled through the RapidAPI platform. By using our APIs, you also agree to comply with RapidAPI's Terms of Service.
3. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for your use of the Service and any consequences that arise from it. Specifically, you agree to:
- Use the API key provided through RapidAPI exclusively for authorized purposes.
- Not share, publish, or expose your API keys to unauthorized parties.
- Comply with all applicable rate limits associated with your subscription tier.
- Not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in a manner that could damage, disable, or impair the Service.
- Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
- Not engage in automated scraping, bulk data extraction, or any form of abuse of the API endpoints.
- Implement appropriate error handling and retry logic in your applications.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these responsibilities.
4. Payment and Billing
All payments for API access are processed through the RapidAPI platform. frapi.io does not directly collect or process payments.
Subscription Plans: We offer multiple subscription tiers through RapidAPI, including a free tier with limited requests. Paid tiers provide increased request volumes and priority support.
Billing Cycle: Subscriptions are billed on a monthly recurring basis through RapidAPI. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time through your RapidAPI dashboard.
Overages: If you exceed the request limits of your plan, RapidAPI may charge additional fees according to their billing policies. We recommend monitoring your usage through the RapidAPI dashboard.
Refunds: Refund requests are subject to RapidAPI's refund policy. We encourage you to use the free tier to evaluate the Service before committing to a paid plan.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all APIs, documentation, code, algorithms, designs, trademarks, and related materials, is the exclusive property of frapi.io and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use our trademarks, logos, or brand names without prior written consent.
API Output: Data returned by our APIs in response to your queries is provided for your use. However, the underlying models, algorithms, and data structures used to generate such output remain our intellectual property.
Your Data: You retain all rights to the data you submit to our APIs (e.g., phone numbers, barcode data). We do not claim any ownership over your input data.
6. Data Privacy
We take your privacy seriously. Our data practices are as follows:
- No Data Persistence: API request data (including phone numbers and barcode data) is processed in real-time and is not stored, logged, or persisted after the response is returned.
- No Data Selling: We do not sell, rent, or share your API request data with any third parties.
- Aggregated Metrics: We may collect anonymized, aggregated usage statistics (e.g., total request counts, error rates) to improve the Service. This data cannot be used to identify individual users or their specific requests.
- Authentication Data: API key management is handled by RapidAPI. We do not have direct access to your RapidAPI credentials.

7. Service Availability and Limitation of Liability
Uptime: While we strive to maintain high availability, the Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Scheduled maintenance windows may occur with or without advance notice.
Disclaimer of Warranties: THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your specific requirements or that the results obtained from using the Service will be accurate, complete, or reliable.
Limitation of Liability: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL LINKLOGIC.DEV BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.
Total Liability: OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO US (VIA RAPIDAPI) DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless frapi.io, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.
9. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.
You may terminate your use of the Service at any time by canceling your subscription through the RapidAPI platform and ceasing all API calls.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction.
